Description
The BRAŻŻA Art Residency offers photography and darkroom printing workshops in a fully equipped studio. The main focus is on Black and White analogue (film) photography and darkroom printing however the courses may also tackle broader issues related to contemporary photography and the challenges of working in a professional field. Each workshop is tailormade to individual needs, from enthusiastic beginners discovering the fascinating world of light and shadow to the hard boiled pro needing to take things one step further. The workshops are led by David Pisani in the residence studio and darkroom and are normally formatted for individual one-to-one apprenticeship, however the Brazza art residency also hosts small groups.
The photographer’s photo library, encompassing many classic books and avant-guards ones, can be used by each resident.

There is no limitation of age or nationality. The applicant must speak English or French.
